چکیده

| A directional selective restoration method is described. The adaptivity is based on the estimation of the local SNR of the ideal image. In order to achieve directional adaptiv-ity, a directional selective transform, based on a discrete short time Fourier transform is presented. The results obtained are compared with a non-directional selective restoration method.
